Cyber Safety Evening at WEGC

We are delighted to partner with "Our Kids Online" to present 'A Cyber Safety Evening' and warmly invite all parents, whānau and our wider school community to attend this free event.

The evening is in collaboration with Rob & Zareen Cope - Authors, Parents and Filmmakers of the 2020 Documentary "Our Kids Online"

Thursday 23 June at 6.00pm - 8.00pm, in the WEGC School Hall

* Understand the harms our kids are facing online in relation to pornography, predators, social media access and the 24/7 switched on effect on the developing brain

* Learn practical solutions to keep your children safer online

* Get advice on healthy ways to approach these tricky topics

* Learn what to do when your child has been exposed to something harmful

The talk also includes an online safety plan tailor to suit your family's needs
