Mask use update under Orange setting

Over this weekend we have had a significant increase in the numbers of staff and students testing positive for COVID-19. We also now have the emergence of new variants in NZ with an increased risk of re-infection. 

Taking this into consideration we have decided to make mask use compulsory again at school for all students who do not have an exemption. This decision has been made to support the safety of students and staff and also to ensure that we continue to have adequate staffing to enable continuity of on-site learning. 

If the numbers of staff continues to increase then we may need to consider rostering year groups home and switching into Hybrid Learning.
