Suspension of Industrial Action

Important update regarding the current industrial action and its impact on our school.

We have received communication from the PPTA (Post Primary Teachers' Association) stating that they have decided to suspend their industrial action for a brief period. The suspension will be effective from today, Monday 22nd May, until Tuesday 30th May. As a result, Year 11 students and Year 13 students who were scheduled to be rostered home on Thursday 25th May and Tuesday 30th May, respectively, are now able to attend school on those days.

The purpose of this suspension is to provide an opportunity for the PPTA and the Ministry of Education to collaborate and explore potential options. It is an important step towards resolving the ongoing issues.

However, it is important to note that the industrial action is due to resume on Wednesday 31st May.
