Teacher Only Days

This is a reminder that Wellington East Girls' College has Teacher Only Days on 16th and 17th November.  The 16th November has been set by the Ministry of Education to support the Curriculum refresh, and  the implementation of the Common Practice Model for the teaching of Literacy and Numeracy. 

The 17th November is our school Teacher Only Day where staff will be engaging in learning from mana whenua about the histories of our local environment to support the implementation of Mana ōrite mō te Mātauranga Māori and Aotearoa New Zealand Histories.

There will be no timetabled classes, and there will be no scheduled tutorials for Senior students. 

The NCEA exams will run as normal on Thursday 16 November.

 Our Te Aka Class will be closed, and our school buses will not be running.
