WEGC Prize Giving 2024

An email/letter was sent to all parents

The school Prize Giving is on Wednesday 30th October @ 6.30pm, at the Michael Fowler Centre.

Morning Practice Wednesday 30th of October – 8.45 am – 1.30 pm approx.

Attendance is compulsory for all students.

Below are the arrival times at the Michael Fowler Centre:

8.00am Orchestra arrive to set up

8:45am Students to be at MFC

10.30am approx. Non-Performers and students not receiving prizes dismissed

1.30pm approx. Performers and prize winners dismissed

Buses:  Metlink are unable to reroute our school buses. Students will need to be at the Michael Fowler Centre by 8.45 am where their Manaaki teacher will take the roll.

If your student is absent please follow the usual procedure and notify our absence line 385 8514 ext 848, email absence@wegc.school.nz or via the app. Students will be dismissed from the practice at approximately 12.30 pm, with the expectation that they will return for the Prizegiving in the evening, times are indicated below. There will be no afternoon school buses and students will need to make their own way home.

5:00 pm - Performers arrive

5.45 pm - Prize winners and performers to be seated

6.00 pm - All other students to be seated

6:30 pm - Doors will close

Parking is limited in the area as Wakefield Street has road work activities, we recommend parking near Te Papa.
